Our *Important* Mailing

Hello Members and Supporters,

The Foundation’s year-end report and appeal for membership renewal and donations was mailed the week of November 16. Inadvertently, people received this mailing in a plain white envelope with no indication it was from the Lake of Bays Heritage Foundation. We are concerned that some members may have considered this junk mail and therefore did not open the envelope or read the contents.

This mailing is important since it included a call for donations to the Langmaid’s Protection Fund. As many will know, LBHF is engaged in an LPAT appeal process to defend against the over-development of Langmaid’s Island. Hearings begin February 1, 2021 and we need your help with raising an estimated $100,000 for professional fees.

We thank those who opened the mail, renewed their membership or made a donation.

If you did not receive the mailing you can view it on our website. The package contained two letters: The President’s Year End Report and a letter from LOBA and LBHF about the Langmaid’s Protection Fund.
