We're pleased to share two updates from the Lake of Bays Heritage Foundation
Bursary Recipients Congratulations to Jonah Gonthier of Huntsville High School and RJ Maksymchuk of Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes Secondary School, recipients of the 2026 Harriet T. Weaver Bursaries.
Each recipient will receive a $1,500 bursary award to support their post-secondary studies. Jonah will study Biology at Nipissing University, while RJ will pursue Animal Biology at the University of Guelph.
Established in honour of Harriet T. Weaver, a long-time Lake of Bays cottager and valued member of the community, the bursary program has supported 23 local students since 2014.
